Boats are depopulating in the used boat market. They are a type of boat that is in high demand among enthusiasts, but are rarely found at boat shows and on the production lines of shipyards. That’s why the used boat market is having a lot of success, with events such as Nautilia, which during the six-day exhibition in Aprilia Marittima (UD) enabled so many people to find the right boat to buy.
More and more used boats
For the past few years, the market for used boats has been flourishing. There are several reasons for this, certainly including long deliveries and the gradual disappearance of certain segments from the new market (e.g., small boats). And Nautilia’s second-hand fair, now in its 36th year, also proves it. This year, in fact, the number of boats on display and the number of visitors-potential customers-who visited the models on display, accompanied and assisted by the many qualified professionals at the fair increased again.
Among the approximately 300 used boats on display at Nautilia-from more than 50 shipyards and manufacturers-most successful were the watercraft, i.e., boats with hull lengths between 0 and 10 meters that can be driven without registration and license. In addition to boats, there was also a massive presence of exhibitors from the world ofclothing and accessories this year. For visitors, an extra opportunity to experience the passion for boating during two autumn long weekends (Oct. 14/15/16 – Oct. 20/21/22) but with still summer temperatures.
