is now among the undisputed leaders in supplying hydraulic and hydraulics systems applied to boats and industry in general. Gianni Cariboni founded it in 1984, creating a history that has contributed greatly with its innovations to improving the world of sailboats. On any boat you encounter with a canting keel, or lift, or a hydraulic maneuvering system, more than likely that system is signed by the company.
Gianni visited us at the Genoa Boat Show, and we talked about several topics, starting with the America’s Cup, as this is the eighth challenge for the Italian company as a supplier of components for boats, AC 40 and AC 75 in this case. We talked with the legendary founder about this and much, including anecdotes and tales of sailing, yesterday and today.
