We will see it at the fall boat shows, in the meantime the Hanse 510 is undergoing its first sailing tests, and the German shipyard has released the first images while sailing.
This is the second hull designed by Berret Racoupeau, following the debut with the 46, the first model after the Judel&Vrolijk era.
Hanse 510 – The super cruiser for families
Comfort and ease of handling are the main and unavoidable focuses of this boat, which has an impressive 4.91 meters of maximum width. The designers kept a continuous thread with the smaller model, the Hanse 46, from an aesthetic point of view as well as a boat concept. In fact, the bow edge running almost all the way along the side is reintroduced, a useful expedient to increase interior space without making the look of the boat too heavy. At the stern is the ever-present tender garage to store a dinghy armed and ready to go on the water. Among the various options the shipyard provides will be a hard top for almost total cockpit coverage.
Hanse 510 – interior and layout
There will be over 100 possible layout combinations to configure the Hanse 510 to suit your needs. Whether it’s a yacht with a master stateroom, private bathroom and two comfortable aft cabins, or a charter yacht with 10 berths, three bathrooms and an additional skipper’s cabin, anything is possible. The kitchen can also be completely adapted to the client’s wishes. In addition to several refrigerator and freezer options, there is space for a wine cooler, a dishwasher, and a three-burner gas stove with oven in the longitudinal or U-shaped pantry, which can be customized with different colors and surface materials.
