Augmented reality. A room at the masthead
Harnessing artificial intelligence on board your boat is now a little easier, thanks to an agreement between Sea.Ai, a leading manufacturer of special cameras for boating, and the X-Yachts shipyard. Sea.Ai ‘s masthead-mounted products enable it to detect possible course obstructions and possible impending collisions with very high accuracy, dramatically reducing the risk of accidents even at night and in low visibility conditions. The partnership involves installing Sea.Ai visors on X-Yachts shipyard boats , starting with the X49E, which was the first test launched last year by the two companies. Sea.Ai produces two lines of chambers for sailboats, the Offshore line for all cruising boats and the Competition line for offshore racing boats.
