The Dufour 41 is the newest addition from the French shipyard, Fountaine Pajot Group, for 2023. Its world premiere will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, but we have already been to Palma de Mallorca to try it out, and while waiting to tell you about the full test in the magazine and with a video coming soon to our web and YouTube channels, we give you a preview.
Dufour 41 – The Project
The water lines are once again by Felci Yacht Design, while the new interior design is by Ardizio Design, confirming that the French brand likes our designers and holds our market in high regard. It is no accident that the new Dufour 41 is a Mediterranean cruising boat in performance, even in the medium-light wind as we have experienced with 9-12 knots of wind in which she was agile both upwind and downwind with gennaker, while remaining firmly anchored in the philosophy of a family cruiser and for the charter market.
The different options the yard offers to customize the boat, with different “packages” of outfitting and layout depending on the type of customer, make this Dufour 41 a versatile boat that can really wink at the Italian market.
