The Marina di Brindisi, recognized by ADAC (Europe’s largest automobile club) as one of the best port facilities in southern Italy, is offering all VELA Cup Brindisi members free mooring from May 26 through June 11.

For the more sporty, however, it is also an opportunity to participate in the 37th edition of the Brindisi-Corfu, a historic international offshore regatta, a leg of the Italian Offshore Championship, which kicks off on Sunday, June 11.

The VELA Cup regatta in Brindisi, scheduled for Saturday, June 3, will last about 3-4 hours and the race course will be set up on a coastal course. The regatta formula moreover is very simple: whoever finishes first wins, with divisions by homogeneous length classes in the Cruising Boat and Sport Boat categories. The overall winner in compensated time will be awarded the Leg Winner prize, given to the best performance, regardless of size.
