The replacement of the buoys at La Spezia’s Molo Italia has been completed, which now sees floating docks protected by massive breakwaters from
Ingemar
. The 2023 of the Group, a leader in the creation of floating structures for the boating industry, has started on the best of terms, with a presence even in less classic and more pop installations such as the one created for Azimut Yachts during the Fuorisalone in Milan.
La Spezia: goodbye buoys, here are the new floating docks
One of the latest works completed by Ingemar is the one carried out in Le Grazie, in the Gulf of La Spezia. Over the years, the gradual replacement of buoys and buoy fields with about 1440m of floating docks has been carried out. Ingemar installed two long mooring groynes with steel frames, concrete floats, and fine timber decks to serve 4 boat clubs. Complementing the frangionde structures already installed by
Ingemar
, the company finally built a new 4-meter wide floating barrier to protect the jetties of the La Spezia Sailing Club at Molo Italia on a project by the Port Authority.
Parallel to industrial work,
Ingemar
also carries out projects related to the recreational sphere, such as the recent collaboration with Azimut Yacht to create the water installation “The Sea Deck.” The floating promenade that came to life in the Darsena during the last Milan Design Week 2023, a project by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi, was built with floating docks and Ingemar walkways.
Ingemar’s departing projects
Construction sites launched by Ingemar in the recent period include, among others, the renovation of the Port of Palau, with the replacement of jetties and maintenance of access fingers, anchorage to the seabed and walkways, and the expansion of the Jesolo Tourist Port with a new sub-bench. Ingemar is also involved in major projects abroad such as the construction of the new landings in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and piers for the UAE Coast Guard in Abu Dhabi.
