In the first installment we told you how, in fact, for catamarans over 13 meters one can already speak of “seaside villas,” and we had fun calculating their “real estate square meters” in a rough calculation.
We also repost below the table we made. On addition to overall length and beam, also displacement and sail area under white sails, the two figures that will immediately let you know the “vocation” of the multihull in question: more cruising or with performance ambitions. 7 new catamarans from 14.50 to 15.75 m
We then reviewed the first seven models, from 13.34 m to 14.28 m. Now it is time to introduce the other seven catamarans, from 14.50 to 15.75 m. Seven seaside villas we present in ascending order of length, each with its own insights. Good choice!
Alubat Ovnicat 48 – 14.50 m – The charm of aluminum
A design by French designers Mortain&Mavrikios, the cat does not have a fly bridge but the wheelhouse is still elevated above the outdoor living area. The deckhouse has continuous fenestration ideal for maintaining ideal continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Various interior layouts available, which can be modified as needed.

Outremer 45 – 14.63 m – Sleek and French-style
The Barreau-Neuman firm handled the naval architecture, Frank Darnet Design Instead, he is the author of the interior design. The result is a catamaran with streamlined lines and a restrained superstructure, benefiting the size of the cockpit.

Dufour Cat 48 – 14.70 m – Up to 6 cabins!
The Cat designed by Felci Yacht Design is meant to fulfill a dual purpose, satisfying both the charter market which is the primary destination but also the private market, offering the possibility to be configure the interiors in multiple layouts, up to the version with 6 cabins and 6 bathrooms which is ideal for charter.

Balance 482 – 14.71 m – Cruise made in USA
Phili Berman and Anton Du Toit are the pens behind the Balance 482, a U.S.-made catamaran designed to fearlessly tackle even long sailings. Water lines and sail area are those of a cruising catamaran, but one that does not give up performance and sporty trim.

C-Cat 48 – 14.80 m – Is there such a thing as a sports cat? Yes
The C-Cat 48 reflects the Italian C-Catamarans’ philosophy of producing catamarans intended for sport cruising. Comfortable, equipped with every comfort, but with significant sailing capabilities. For this reason, the C-Cat 48 also has two side drifts; between the two bows is the classic net, which is also good for sunbathing area.

Catamarans. Itacatamarans 14.99 – 14.99 m – High-end look Made in Italy
The first from this Italian shipyard, the 14.99, is a boat that was born with considerable ambitions and wants to position itself in a rather high market segment, where only some French and other international brands go. The look is sporty, with totally inverted bows and adjustable drifts.

Catamarans. Catana Ocean Class – 15.75 m – Decidedly French
With an overall length of 15.75 m, it is the longest cat in this selection, designed by Olivier Poncin conceived for long, high-performance sailing. Constructed of carbon composite, it has adjustable drifts, and promises adrenaline-pumping sailing without betraying on comfort.
