Lightweight hulls and wooden interiors like classic boats. The Danish shipyard Faurby Yachts with its boats goes for those who love the charm of wood and the minimalist look of old-fashioned yachts. With state-of-the-art technology and hull, which allow for safe and light sailing, the Faurby 460is a “classic but modern” cruising boat for true enthusiasts.
Faurby 460. Comfortable and luxurious cruise
The Faurby 460 is a boat with a Nordic soul produced by the Danish shipyard Faurby Yachts, established in 1976 in Lunderskov, southern Denmark. The yard’s goal is to deliver boats designed to the owner’s requirements, especially with regard to theorganization of space below deck. This 46-footer born in the North Seas is a cruising boat designed to cross any sea, and to cope with long sailings and strong winds. The Faurby 460 is the longest yacht among those currently produced by the shipyard, which also retains the same characteristics of its production on this example. Sail area in fact is definitely important, while the water lines are designed to make the boat light and agile, considering a displacement of 10,500 kilograms.
Fuarby 460. Interior with attention to detail
The interior of the Faurby 460 are designed and produced truly according to each owner’s needs. Starting with the material chosen for the furnishings, which can be made of teak, mahogany or oak, you can decide to give the boat a more modern or more classic, almost vintage yacht look. You can choose to sew the boat to the demands of a couple, looking for a luxurious cruiser from long sailings, and thus with a spacious and elegant interior. Or on those of a family, even a large one, since you can have 6 total beds without giving up the ample living room space. Depending on the layout chosen, the interior will be designed differently, with the kitchen in line or L-shaped, sofa with C-shaped seating or with two front seats-there is absolute freedom in organizing the layout.
