Jiber furling – Ubi Maior

Jiber is the highly intelligent structural reel produced by Ubi Maior. Instead of the classic aluminum extrusion, this furling system uses a rod cable integral with the drum, which then rotates whenever the sail is opened or closed. Two snap-on guides hold the shuttle, which is guided and rotates along with the forestay, allowing the sail to open and, more importantly, to close in the proper manner.
