5 used boats from 7.30 to 9.99 m
Zuanelli Z25 – 7.30 m – That Stephens hull…
The first of the unregistered used boats we offer is a Zuanelli Z25 (7.30 x 2.54 m): a small but complete cruiser that combines, in just over seven meters, a comfortable cockpit, a deckhouse with a rounded design, and, above all, a hull designed by Olin Stephens, one of the greatest designers of America’s Cup boats.

Stephens designed the Alpa 21 in 1975, but when the Offanengo (Cremona) shipyard went out of business due to financial difficulties the boat’s molds were purchased by Pietro Zuanelli, owner of the yard of the same name in Padenghe sul Garda (Brescia). From Alpa 21, therefore, the development of Z25 started.
A boat that was already “modern,” with all halyards deferred in the cockpit disappearing under a special passage, leaving the deck clear. In the elongated stern, there is a large locker.
Below deck, four bunks in two separate rooms, toilet, a small kitchen, lots of wood to make the rooms “warm.” Stephens’ hand can be felt: the boat “walks” well, both upwind and at the leads.
The boat, currently dry-docked and equipped with a BMW 6-horsepower inboard engine and sails in good condition, can be seen in Moniga del Garda (Brescia). Until 1981, it was used exclusively on the lake. Attractive price.
Angry 26 – 7.90 m – Perfect for getting started!
The second of the used boats for sale is another small cruiser: an Angry 26 (7.90 x 2.70 m), which the Plastilupi shipyard in Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan, Italy) molded in vtr (his also built the Half-Cast half-tonner designed by Davide Castiglioni).

The boat’s design is by Frank Libera: the Angry 26 featured a hull and deck made of fiberglass sandwich with balsa wood, with a large, protected cockpit and a distinctly pronounced transom. Below deck, five beds, separate toilet and kitchen. The special feature: the liftable drift fin, which can reduce the draft from 1.80 to 0.70 m.
The model under review, which can be seen in Mandello del Lario (Lecco) and is from 1987, is easy to drive even by yourself and is powered by a 17-horsepower diesel.
Used boats: Hanse 312 – 9.45 m – Comfortable but not only
We continue with the third of the used boats for sale on our classifieds market and in this case we jump forward in years. We are talking about a Hanse 312 (9.45 x 3.20 m) that makes comfort its strong point, but-there is a but. Perhaps not everyone knows that, like so many of the German shipyard’s models, it is the brainchild of Judel Vrolijk, one of the world’s most famous studios, especially for the speed of their hulls.

Even this 312, looking so “quiet,” hides a high-performance fairing. This combination earned him the title of European Boat of the Year in 2002.
Externally, the Hanse 312 features a classic long deckhouse with a traditional design and an equally simple, marine cockpit. The sail plan makes it clear that this is a boat capable of good performance even in light winds, thanks to the generous size of the mainsail and the possibility of opting for a self-tacking jib or a high-coverage genoa. As for the bulb, one can opt for the traditional one with a draft of 1.75 m or for a 0.95/1.40 m moving drift.
The spacious and well-finished interior, thanks to the generous width that extends aft, accommodates two cabins and a saloon with two convertible sofas. A separate toilet, chart table and kitchenette complete the accommodations. Fiberglass construction of a good standard.
This boat, from 2005, can also be seen in Lazio, in Anzio (Rome). It is complete with every convenience, Yanmar 30 horsepower engine and being equipped with tiller steering you will feel like you are driving a big drift!
Stag 32 – 9.63 m – Fast and comfortable too!
The fourth of the used boats for sale is a great classic of Italian boating. Sloop rigging with a seven-eighths jib, flying shrouds, round hull with streamlined lines, low, tapered deckhouse, wide cockpit, and maneuvers deferred in the cockpit, the Stag 32 (9.63 x 3.25 m) is a model that on the race courses has taken its satisfaction. Designed to run in Class V IOR by Luca Taddei, it was built at the Mark III shipyard in Desenzano, on Lake Garda.

In the cruise version, however, it can accommodate up to seven people: in addition to the two double cabins, one forward and one aft, three more berths can be made in the saloon. Overlooking the square kitchen, chart table and service room.
The model we offer, which can be seen in Castellammare di Stabia, is from 1984 and has always been maintained over time with care and regularity. The engine relies on a 20-horsepower Lombardini.
Used boats – Wing 34 – 9.99 m – Definitely IOR
We close with the last of the boats used “under the lens.” This one, like the previous one, also bears the signature of Luca Taddei, designer of the various Stags and one of the leading figures in IOR boats made in Italy. We are talking about a Wing 34 (9.99 x 3.40 m), a boat that the Le Petit Bateau shipyard in Bedizzole (Brescia) built from 1982 to 1990. Of the boat, IV Class IOR rigged sloop 7/8 with high and low steering wheels, 16 examples were made.

The deckhouse, which slopes with a sharp “cathetus” toward the bow, is thin, which facilitates lateral passage on deck. Tiller rudder, protected cockpit interspersed with the mainsail track, and below deck the saloon with two sofas/berths and center table, the galley on the port side towards the stern and to its starboard the chart table. In the bow is the double cabin and toilet.
It is an accomplished boat, not least because one of its twins won many IOR regattas in the 1980s (the Italian IV Class Championship in 1983-84 and first runner-up at the World Class selections).
The model for sale, visible in Rimini, is sold at a very attractive price and has the Yanamar engine with only 100 hours on it.
