Hallberg-Rassy 57 – Spacious interior and design by German Frers
TheHallberg-Rassy 57 is a yacht 18 meters and 44 centimeters long with a maximum beam of 5.15 meters designed by the naval architecture firm of German Frèrs. The boat has a lot of features that make it easier to navigate and manage the boat even with a small crew. And it also has a double helm, as is customary on the latest generation Hallberg-Rassy. Each rudder has double self-adjusting bearings, allowing the boat to be steered effortlessly in all conditions. The interior is very spacious with a very large forward cabin and starboard cabin, ample storage space and generous beds. The aft cabin, in the single-cabin layout, is spacious, airy, and comfortable, while the galley has a huge work surface and allows for an induction stove, dishwasher, microwave oven, and second freezer.
Clean deck and excellent performance
On the Hallberg-Rassy 57, the deck in front of the mast is very clean. All deck hatches are flush mounted, the anchor windlass is hidden below deck level, and the furler is located below deck. There are a total of eight strong mooring cleats on the top of the teak edge; of these the spring-loaded cleats are double on each side. There is an option for a retractable gangway, which folds into the large aft locker. According to German Frers’ design, the Hallberg-Rassy 57 reaches 8.75 knots with a true wind angle of 90 degrees. With only 10 knots of real wind!
