After the success of the Exploration 45 and 52 sailboats, Garcia Yachts designed an even more adventurous yacht. The Exploration 60, a boat created for those who take on long voyages and seek durability, comfort and reliability. The first specimen of
Garcia Exploration 60
was put in the water and sailed for the first time. We tell you about it!
Garcia Exploration 60 – The ultimate exploration boat
The new flagship of Garcia’s Exploration range combines elegance and comfort with lines and features designed for potentially extreme sailing conditions. The deck is very clean, while on the deckhouse we find large panoramic windows and solar panels, which are very useful during long sailings. The interior was designed by Isabelle Racoupeau of Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design studio. The salon of the
Garcia Exploration 60
is brightly lit by the large 270-degree panoramic windows and welcoming, with elegant and refined finishes. There is certainly no shortage of space on board: extra-large common areas have been created, taking advantage of every inch of space. In addition to the master cabin, which can be had in the stern or bow, we find one-or two-guest cabins and the skipper’s cabin. There are two bathrooms, one in the bow and one in the salon, and the very spacious galley is on the port side of the salon where there is also a multipurpose area that can even be set up as a sauna.
Aluminum = strength to face all seas
The security that aluminum offers in the nautical world is unparalleled. The qualities of this material are now well known, allowing it to combine strength, solidity and durability with an extremely low specific weight. This is why it is the material of choice increasingly chosen by shipyards building ocean cruising boats. Like Garcia Yachts, which has enabled so many enthusiasts to sail around the world since 1974 thanks to its boats. Stepping aboard this 19.70-meter boat we will find a flush deck, extremely clean and elegant as the latest trends have accustomed us to seeing. The Garcia Exploration 60’s hardtop hard top that underscores the panoramic deckhouse houses several solar panels, and goes to cover a generous and protected cockpit. At the stern we find the double wheelhouse with all maneuvers easily accessible, the large swim platform and the roll bar, which will be equipped with a tender crane as standard.
