A catamaran that is sporty, high-performance and comfortable at the same time? Whenever it is mentioned, you hear the usual comments like “I want to see it upwind” or “You know what a beating in heavy seas” and “But those are made for standing still in port not for sailing.”
Excess 14, sporty and comfortable
Well, with the Excess 14 you will definitely have a chance to reconsider once you try it. The sporty DNA of this boat designed by VPLP of Lorient for Excess Catamarans, which specializes in ocean-going and racing catamarans is felt and not a little, and if it were a monohull we would be tempted to call it a Performance Cruiser.
