A now classic sail in a magical place!
Over the years there have been many great faces of Italian sailing who have taken part in the TAG Heuer VELA Cup, from Vincenzo Onorato to Tommaso Chieffi, via Mauro Pelaschier and Roberto Lacorte. World-renowned boats such as My Song or the first Moor of Venice-just last year we reunited “the boys of the Moor” in Santa-but also crews of families and simple sailing enthusiasts such as that of Luigi Gaddi, who with his Dufour 44, Lirae, was the overall winner of the 2018 VELA Cup circuit. Or even the legendary Angela Besana Gagliardi who at 100 years old participated in the VELA Cup in Santa (by the way, both Gaddi and signoara Angela you can vote for them among the 100 TAG Heuer Sailor of the Year nominees!). The setting of the Gulf of Tigullio and Portofino is the added value, the charm of sailing in one of the most beautiful places on our peninsula.
Who can participate?
All, the TAG Heuer VELA Cup is open to all sailors and lovers of the sport, monohulls and multihulls, cabin cruisers and open, racer or “cruiser” and without age limitationÄ… without using the tonnage certificate (IRC/ORC/CIM).
