That catamarans are much more than a “trend” in Italy is now well established. This is evidenced by the many formulas that promote lease purchase, long-term rental, and multihull management. This is evidenced by the fact that many marinas have dedicated offers for the catamaran world, with berth rates comparable to those applied to a monohull.
CAT FOUNTAINE PAJOT GATHERING ARRIVES IN ITALY
Further confirming the cat “boom” comes a gathering dedicated to them. The first “Rendezvous Fountaine Pajot Italia” for all owners of catamarans produced by the French shipyard will be held May 24-26 at Capo d’Orlando Marina.
The Rendezvous is an annual event held in countries identified by the site for recent performance and development. This year, after a site visit to the Capo d’Orlando port facility, Fountaine Pajot decided to organize this important event in Italy, to which not only shipowners and their crews will be invited, but also brokers, dealers and the company’s entire commercial structure.
In this regard, Domenico Furci, head of Fountaine Pajot for Italy, said, “We are particularly proud to organize the first Rendez Vous of our owners in Italy in the beautiful setting of the new Marina at Capo d’Orlando. Our Sail and Motor ranges are the newest in the multihull market, and Italy has appreciated and rewarded our choices and products. In recent years we have grown more than the market average and we want to recognize a tribute to Italy and Italian customers.”
On the other hand, Francesco Federico, president of the Capo d’Orlando Marina management company said, “The choice of Fountaine Pajot makes us proud especially because it fosters awareness of our facility and our area among qualified shipowners, making them appreciate the services that are the marina’s strengths.”
FOUNTAINE PAJOT
FountainePajot has been a designer and builder of boats since 1976, becoming a world leader in the production of luxury catamarans from 12 to 20 meters in length, with annual production of 300 units between sail and motor.
CAPE D’ORLANDO MARINA
Capo d’Orlando Marina opened in 2017 and immediately proved to be a flagship in the Italian yachting industry. It is equipped with 553 berths up to 40 meters in length, an elegant shopping arcade, fuel station and technical area with a wide range of services offered, as well as a small accommodation facility with SPA; a true 5-star resort set amidst the beauty of the northeastern coast of Sicily and in a privileged position facing the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands.
