The hull has fairly rounded center sections, with significant maximum beam and very thin entrances. At the engine, the submerged volumes are filled with a “bustle” that, by raising the value of the prismatic coefficient, makes it possible to maintain a proper buoyancy even with the embarked weights at cruise.
