They are known and appreciated all over the world for their marinity, solidity and attention to detail. The Hallberg Rassy has always been one of the icons of yachting. With the 372, the Ellos shipyard aimed to replace the 37, which, unlike this one featured a central cockpit. The 372 is slightly longer, has a shallower canoe body and a drift blade with more draft but less weight. Revised sail plan as well, with a slightly increased mainsail and a genoa with less overlap. This makes the boat easy to maneuver solo or with a small crew. The design changes, according to German Frers’ analysis, enable this 37-footer to achieve higher speeds than the HR 40.
COVER
The one-meter taller mast allows the HR 372 to mount a sail plan designed for easy sailing. This also involves the proper arrangement of rigging near the wheelhouse. A self-tacking genoa is provided as an option. The cockpit is well sheltered by the fixed splash guard mounted on the deckhouse.
INTERIOR
Bright and airy, the interior is well finished. Wooden bulkhead linings create a warm and welcoming environment. The U-shaped kitchen boasts ample work space and a full set of appliances. The master cabin is not at all sacrificed and is served by a private bathroom with a separate shower. The forward cabin is equally spacious, with a deep V-bed, a seat and enough lockers to cram in material.
AVERAGE VALUATION: For a 2010 boat in good condition, the average valuation is around 190-200,000 euros.
