Sunbeams are an excellent answer for those boat owners looking for solidity and “blue water” marine characteristics even on small to medium-sized hulls. The boat under consideration turns out to be safe, easy and well protected, three very important requirements for those who also like to sail long distances without posing any problems. Attention to detail and full of apt details this boat positively amazes in comparison with size competitors.
COVER
The deck of the Sunbeam 34 turns out to be dominated by the line of the deckhouse that rises softly and proportionally toward the stern, while managing to give a perception of orderly design lines and excellent interior volumes. Packed with windows both in the hull, on the edges and above the deckhouse, this deck still offers more generous clearances than we would be accustomed to finding on a hull of only 10.60 meters. The cockpit, which does not have overly pronounced paramare, is nevertheless well protected by the deckhouse and can comfortably accommodate six people.
INTERIOR
The interior of the Sunbeam is well thought out, rich in detail and efficient in every volume. From the stern we find a cabin oriented for madiere that, although a bit low for the height allowances, has a really comfortable and large double bed for two people. On the starboard side of the entrance staircase is the bathroom and symmetrically opposite is the kitchen, with a fairly convenient L-shaped floor plan and equipped with all the necessary tools. The table square is enclosed by an L-shaped couch and a linear couch ordered by broadside. Flanking this is the correspondence, which unfortunately does not have dedicated seating. In the bow is the master cabin with a V-bed.
