With 42.000 total votes between the two “preliminary” stages where the public vote had a binding character for the Jury (Read HERE how it went), the Sailing Newspaper TAG Heuer Sailor of the Year has undisputedly established itself as the most participatory sailing award there is, designed by sailors for sailors. Looking forward to the final round that will determine the finalists from April 2-15, in which the public vote will be advisory for the final prizes but decisive in awarding “Most Voted,” let’s take a look at what the Evening of Champions will be like, an event on the docks of the Port of St. Margaret’s absolutely not to be missed.
New this year is that, coming to the Evening of Champions, Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m., you will not only learn about the greats of sailing and find out who has won the most prestigious title in Italian sailing, but if you have voted in one of the three stages, you can win two fantastic raffle prizes: a TAG Heuer watch, the same as the Sailor of the Year, and a boat vacation provided by our partner GlobeSailor.
