Triple whammy for Garmin: the new GPSMAP 8700 Black Box series, the GT24UHD-TM and GT54UHD-TM transducers, and the Panoptix LiveScope with through installation.

The new GPSMAP 8700 Black Box series connects to Garmin displays or third-party touchscreen displays, providing high performance and extreme ease of use for anglers, sailors, and enthusiasts of all kinds. The new range is equipped with the latest generation of processors to provide unprecedented data and image processing speed. A powerful tool enclosed in a black box. It integrates seamlessly with a variety of on-board instruments with built-in Wi-Fi and ANT+ connectivity, 4 Ethernet ports, NMEA 2000 networking, HDMI port, USB port, and many others. In addition, the new GPSMAP 8700 Black Box series, is compatible with the most advanced systems for monitoring and control of on-board systems that allow for easy and intuitive management of all functions of digital switching. GPSMAP 8700 Black Box is available from Q1 2019 at a price of €4,799 including VAT.

The new all-in-one GT24UHD-TM and GT54UHD-TM transducers with CHIRP functions provide crisp, highly defined images of the water surface below the vessel: the 800 kHz ClearVü function ensures detailed images of structures; the SideVü function, with dual frequencies at 455/1200 kHz, provides detailed side-scan images to ensure an increasingly defined and precise search for the best spots. All this technology is packed into one compact and easy-to-install transducer. The new GT24UHD-TM and GT54UHD-TM Transducers are available from Q1 2019 at a price of €249 and €399 including VAT, respectively.

The latest addition to Panoptix is the new Panoptix LiveScope transducer with pass-through installation, which offers an additional mounting option for customers who do not want to use the standard bracket or electric motor version. Its small size and easy mounting system make this transducer suitable for all types of boats. Included in the package is the GLS 10 black box, Panoptix LVS32 transducer with pass-through installation, bracket mount or electric motor, power cable, network cable, and all necessary documentation. The Panoptix LiveScope pass-through is available from the first quarter of 2019 at a price of €2,149 including VAT.
