AT VENICE CERTOSA MARINA ARE LOOKING FOR TWO MOORERS

At the Venezia Certosa Marina, the modern facility on Certosa Island in the Venetian lagoon (with its 320 berths, it is the only dock in Venice that accommodates boats up to 60 mt in length), they are looking for two moorers.

Here is the job description

ACTIVITY: The candidate working in a Marina Resort is responsible for welcoming yachting customers and assisting them in operations related to mooring and providing port logistics services. Assigns the berth in consultation with the office in charge based on the size of the unit and moors it at the respective dock, instructing the client on the marina regulations and the use of facilities.

Mooring maneuvers can be carried out from land or with the help of the assistance dinghy Handles boats ashore, assists the crane operator in hauling and launching units.

Provides surveillance, including nighttime, and maintenance of the marina and all marina facilities such as docks, facilities, shore services, land and sea transportation means. Maneuvering dinghies and/or other motor boats for both mooring operations and transporting people or goods within the lagoon. Performs minor maintenance work on boats.

REQUIREMENTS: good knowledge of English and preferably a second language between French and German. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. Availability to work shifts, including night shifts and holidays. Boat license. Experience gained in marinas is a preference.

COMPANY OFFERS: fixed-term contract with possibility of permanent placement, salary in line with experience.

WORK LOCATION: Insular Venice.

We are looking for an undergraduate or recent graduate to join the Communications and Marketing team. Duties the candidate will be responsible for:
– Coordination of Marketing and Communication activities, drafting activity plan and budget 2019
– Support in the company’s communication activities (newsletters, editorials, etc.)
– Coordination of content on corporate website or Social Media Management
– Graphic Activities for Content Creation –

Miscellaneous Requirements:
