Five used boats from 11.20 to 15.41 m
Najad 361 – 11.20 m – For those who like to sail long
The first of the used boats for sale in our marketplace is a model sought after by those who like solid, marine boats with which to undertake long sailings and why not, spend long periods aboard. We are talking about a Najad 361 (11.20 x 3.50 m), which the Swedish shipyard launched to replace the Najad 360.
A Karlsson design, in production from 1994 to 2001, deck and gunwale are standard teak, interior is solid fine mahogany. The height below deck is as much as 1.92 m, the galley has a development of as much as 2.35 m, and serve to convey the convenience that characterizes this boat. Three cabins and two bathrooms.
The model we offer, visible in Gallipoli (Lecce), is from 1999. The current owner, who provides initial assistance after purchase to familiarize the boat in detail, has owned her since 2008 and has maintained her maniacally. Powered by Volvo 48 horsepower, this Najad 361 is equipped with full electronics, heating, photovoltaics, black water, teak deck, windshield and cockpit protection, outdoor cushions, dinghy and outboard, spare parts and respectable equipment, and constant maintenance.

USED BOATS ON SALE – X-452 – 13.92 m – The “cruise” according to Jeppesen
Let’s move on with the second of the boats used “under the lens”: a great classic signed Jeppesen. An X-452 (13.92 x 4.25 m) cruiser/racer in production from 1986 to 1992.
A beautiful boat, more cruise-oriented. A variety of layouts were offered, including three- and four-cabin versions, which became popular in the Mediterranean.
The model we propose, from 1991, has undergone a great deal of refitting work. It is equipped with Cariboni mast, North Sail sails, spinnaker, Yanmar 63 hp motor. The anti-osmosis treatment was performed in 2020 with a full five-year warranty. The rigging was overhauled in 2018, the electronics are from 2016.

USED BOATS ON SALE – Bavaria 44 Cruiser – 13.93 m – Comfortable and easy
We continue with the third of the boats used in the review. Instead, this is a great classic of comfortable, uncompromising cruising. A Bavaria 44 Cruiser (13.93 x 4.24 m), which the German shipyard produced, designed by Slovenians J&J Design, from 2002 to 2004.
We are talking about one of the market’s queen used boats, highly sought after by both private owners and charter companies, because she combines interesting aesthetics and remarkable comfort with general ease of handling, great at an intelligent ratio of displacement (9.6 T) to sail area (87.79 sq. m.).
Available in three- or four-cabin layouts, except for the height in the forward toilet (180 cm), it looks like a larger boat in its interior. In the four-cabin version, the master stateroom is in the bow: towards the stern is the bathroom to port and the double “twin” bunkhouse to starboard, the large saloon with longitudinal galley to port, the bathroom to port opposite the chartroom, and two twin double cabins (204 x 157 bed sizes).
The model we propose has had only one owner since 2003, the year the boat was launched. It has all the equipment, has two sail games, and various refit work has been done recently.

First 47.7 – 14.33 m – Perfect cruise/racing
The fourth of the used boats for sale in our marketplace that we present is a Beneteau First 47.7 (14.33 x 4.50 m). Fast hull designed by Bruce Farr in 1999, value for money at the time, was for this produced in over 350 examples.
Beneath the appearance of a quiet fast cruising boat lies a true racing yacht. Performance changes depending on sail plan, racing or cruising (22 sq. m. less) but always remains excellent. The bulb is also offered in two versions of 2.30 or 2.80 m draft.
The line features a long deckhouse, while the stern is aesthetically appealing and comfortable, with an opening swim platform. Large cockpit, divided by the mainsail stringer, which demarcates the helmsman’s area with a large rudder wheel. As many as five interior versions, always with two toilets, from two to four cabins. Exceptionally large square, with elliptical dinette and galley broadside opposite. Efficient construction.
The model we offer is from 2001 and can be seen at the Marina Dorica in Ancona. The boat is in perfect condition, always maintained and updated, ready to sail. Complete with everything and many options: watermaker, three electric winches, dur alternators, dinghy with outboard, complete electronics, various equipment. This is the four-cabin version (two double and two bunk), with a well-maintained Volvo Penta 84-horsepower turbocharged engine.

Grand Soleil 50 – 15.41 m – A hybrid of elegance and performance
We close the review of used boats with a Grand Soleil 50 (15.41 x 4.30 m): an interesting boat, designed in 1992 by the collaboration of Doug Peterson (the designer of America Cube that won the Cup in San Diego and who would later design the legendary Luna Rossa of 2000) and the Slovenian firm J&J, great experts in cruiser boats. What emerged was an ante-litteram “cruiser/racer,” classic and modern, sleek and fast, with a living work to run and an “old style” dead work. Thirty examples were made.
The deck plan, with a “double cockpit” that clearly separates the maneuvering areas (helm/rudders), is comfortable and functional, while the interior, designed by architect Bellini, is striking for the solutions adopted at the time. Like the breakdown of the aft area, which is accessed by a corridor where a separate wardrobe room opens. Solution that allows for a large guest toilet that doubles as a service bathroom.
The two aft cabins, equipped with closets and large storage spaces, differ in the shape of the berths: the port one is a classic double, the starboard one a “French” and a staggered bed, ideal for both three children and adults desiring more privacy. Huge kitchen in square (which has 3.50 m “step”).
Beyond the main bulkhead is the owner’s area, which features a cabin with a double berth and dedicated toilet.
The 1996 model for sale goes fast because it has an oversized shaft. Carefully maintained and ready to sail, it can be seen in Leros, Greece: the berth is paid until June 2023.
