Sleek and well-proportioned in its lines, with an extremely balanced hull capable of delivering good performance in all conditions. This is what this 35-footer designed by the couple Michel Joubert and Bernard Nivelt looks like. A boat born for racing and competitive according to Irc and Orc International regulations. The living work is characterized by rounded sections and another prismatic coefficient that ensures good steerability in carrying gaits even in sustained winds. Low sides on the water and flared shape allow both maximum reduction of wetted area and gain on IRC rating, since in this type of regulation the maximum beam is measured on deck. The hull, made by the injection method, has high structural rigidity and is characterized by strict adherence to weights, which is useful for sailing performance.
COVER
Optimized for competitive use, the deck layout has all maneuvers positioned to be intuitive and easy to use. The mainsail sheet, rigged in the German style, comes directly on two winches located aft of the helmsman’s position, in an area where the mainsman has plenty of room to move easily. The limited width of the deckhouse relative to the maximum beam of the boat allows for wide, clutter-free walkways.
INTERIOR
While spartan, the interior is complete with everything needed for those who decide to use the A35 for short cruises. The original solution of the bow area separated with a canvas bulkhead allows a good sense of open space volume as soon as you descend the entry ladder. Good brightness of the rooms due to the large windows.
