Work is in full swing on the new Maxi Dolphin MD62ab, the performance cruiser designed by Alejandro Bottino, formerly of Soto Acebal studio, a boat destined not to go unnoticed. In fact, the lines wink at the latest trends in the racer world, while still being a boat that will have typically cruising interior volumes.
WHAT THE MAXI DOLPHIN 62 WILL LOOK LIKE.
This new Maxi Dolphin production in fact features modern hull lines and an inverted bow. The very set back maximum beam and uncluttered deckhouse accentuate its sporty character. The hull is made of sandwich, wet-layup carbon-epoxy vacuum with Corecell core. Awl-Grip enamel finish. Maxi Dolphin not surprisingly is renowned for producing carbon custom boats.
The large windows on the hull and deckhouse, combined with the top window at the hatch, provide excellent brightness to the interior. The layout is the classic 3-cabin, 3-bathroom layout. An alternative layout with a fourth cabin with overlapping beds is available. The sailor cabin is located forward of the owner’s galley. The U-shaped galley advanced toward the main bulkhead. In this way, the saloon becomes an exclusive area for the owner and his guests.
As with all Maxi Dolphin boats, customization is always a must-have opportunity for the owner who wishes to take action to make his or her boat a unique object tailored to his or her needs.
All production, from rolling to finishing, is carried out in Italy at the Erbusco (BS) shipyard, thus ensuring full control of the production process and the high quality standard that characterizes all Maxi Dolphin products.
