Greek giant of products dedicated to boat safety Lalizas has acquired the historic Romagna-based company Arimar, one of the benchmarks, in Europe, for self-inflating liferafts.
Arimar, founded in 1989 in Montaletto, Cervia (Ravenna), thus joins the group that already gathers such well-known brands as Lofrans, Nuova Rade, Max Power, and Ocean Fenders. And which has a long tradition of manufacturing life-saving equipment and distributing its products at competitive prices around the world, in more than 130 countries.
Lalizas was founded by former sailing champion Stavros Lalizas in 1982 and still retains the character of a growing family business. For each new acquisition made, there is an “acquisition and implementation team” formed under the leadership of Stavros Lalizas himself, which is in charge of the integration process and tasked with finding any synergies between the acquired brand and the group’s current operations.
