Designed to never come down to earth
The characteristic of this yacht is, as we have said, to be suitable for long sailing. And indeed there is no lack of comfort on board. The interior, which houses a large hall, has aheight exceeding 2 meters and large windows on all sides. The three guest cabins all have private bathrooms, and the table located dining area comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. There is no shortage of details that make a difference, such as the ability to install six tanks, reaching up to 1150 liters of fuel and 930 liters of water. The aft garage is really large and can accommodate a rigid-keel tender up to 3 meters long, an essential accessory for long cruises.
The words of the person who designed the Swan 58: German Frers
“The Swan 58 was designed at the same time as its younger sister, the Swan 48. It follows the same well proven and successful canoe body design concept; powerful, well balanced and sea kindly shape that would be safe and a pleasure to sail. On the 58, a true Blue Water yacht intended to sail comfortably anywhere in the world, the bow sections have been softened with the idea of allowing a smoother upwind ride than the sea normally encountered in force 4/5″ winds.
