At the “Cammellone Party” at Spazio Base in Milan, we were there to celebrate Ambrogio Beccaria’s Mini Transat victory in an evening where the Milanese champion told an audience of friends, sailors and supporters all the “behind the scenes” of this historic victory.
It was a decidedly relaxed and smiling-faced Ambrose who told us about the present and the future, and we did not miss the opportunity to have a chat with him. The short- and long-term future is always called Ocean, with the idea of putting in the water an all-Italian project for a new Class 40 And the long-term dream that looks to the Vendée Globe. But beware because these are not the only ideas in Bogi’s drawer, the Paris 2024 Olympics with the new offshore Olympic class does not leave him indifferent at all. Listen to what he told us.
