When we presented it, we had said that “speed can also be comfortable.” The Neo 430, however, in addition to all the benefits associated with a fast boat such as being planing and suffering less from the sea, just to name one, also has real comfort. Practical and functional details that make this boat not only a snappy 43-footer for racing, but also, and more importantly, a boat with which to enjoy pure sailing moments even while cruising. And for cruising, you know, details matter to be really comfortable.
We take you aboard the Neo 430 Roma in the company of the shipyard’s founder and owner, Paolo Semeraro.
For 430 Rome, its designer Giovanni Ceccarelli regarding the exteriors, on the other hand, conceived a look with open oceanic-style deck flares, but with “leaner” volumes, useful among other things to lower the boat’s center of gravity, lighten its displacement and reduce turbulence on the headsails. The shipyard with “Roma” wanted to emphasize the concepts of Made in Italy and high-quality Grand Touring.
The boat in fact will be customizable in several versions, the Roma Gran Turismo and the Roma Race Performer, according to the needs of the sailors, so it can be more cruising-oriented or pure performance-oriented in the case of use between buoys or especially in offshore racing.
