The secret to fresh and “serene” sailing in 5 points

frigomarWhen you haul anchor and set out to sail on a much-desired vacation, the last thing you want to get into is a malfunction of any of the equipment that allows the boat to sail and life aboard to be comfortable and relaxing. With this in mind, air conditioning and refrigeration systems are of primary importance and must never let their important work fail.

But how do you ensure that everything always works properly, and especially in case something goes wrong what should you do?

Frigomar throughout its nearly 50-year history has always worked to ensure that its products and services are characterized by a higher level of efficiency. This is how Frigomar has optimized continuous and effective use of its air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

THE 5 KEY POINTS FOR COMFORT ON BOARD FOR FRIGOMAR

  1. Construction quality.

It goes without saying that at the base of everything there must be machinery designed and built to work under all conditions for as long as possible. Quality made-in-Italy design and construction enable the production of efficient and durable systems. In addition, Frigomar has always stood out in innovation, being the first in the marine industry to propose advanced solutions such as Inverter technology (see the absence of mechanical stresses present in variable frequency technology) and using innovative materials that efficiently perform and last the most delicate parts.

  1. Design and installation

Proper design and subsequent installation in a workmanlike manner is essential for systems to function properly and for a long time without experiencing failures or shutdowns. Properly sizing, positioning, and fitting the machines within the boat’s furnishings is of paramount importance to be certain that everything is working properly. In this regard, Frigomar has always worked elbow to elbow with the Shipyard Technical Offices, adopting for each situation all the necessary arrangements to meet the customer’s requirements and ensure proper operation.

  1. Scheduled maintenance

It always seems to be a superfluous part, almost a nuisance, but performing regular and proper plant maintenance is a guarantee of long life for all components. That then the maintenance of Frigomar systems is neither complicated nor expensive and will allow the anchor to be set sail with the peace of mind of someone who has done everything necessary for proper operation.

  1. Minimum operation

It is normal, however, to encounter malfunctions or failures in some cases. Here Frigomar tries to play it forward, going about designing its machinery so that little is left to the what. Wherever possible, solutions are devised to ensure minimal uptime, which simply means ensuring control of basic machinery functions. For example, in the case of control panels for air conditioning systems, it is possible to bypass the touch-screen and the electronic PLC that governs all their functions by acting on simple switches. So if the touch screen stops working properly for any reason (from external power surge to accidental bump…), just remove 4 screws inside the control panel and you can adjust the operation easily, and immediately and safely.

  1. An extensive service network

Finally, it should be known that Frigomar is always close to its customers. Over the course of its long years of operation, it has developed an extensive worldwide service network in the “nerve centers” of boating. Whether you need to repair something or perform normal maintenance, even when you are out on the water it is easy to find a Frigomar service center on your route. To date, there are more than 110 Frigomar services in more than 40 countries around the world.

So to sail cool and calm, rely on Frigomar.
