What a bang! The left tack does not give water, collision is inevitable. VIDEO

Rule 10 of the Racing Rules: two boats on different mere, at the crossing, the one with the starboard tack always has the right of way and the other must keep away. What happened to the hour at the intersection of these two Etchells (a one-design racing dinghy) racing in the Etchells Biscayne Bay Series? It is hard to say why the left-sided boat in the video did not rest, but certainly the collision was strong and fortunately without consequences for the crews. It can be seen that the crew on the left tack has the jib foiled but it is not enough to avoid the very strong collision.
