36th America’s Cup presented by Prada
PRADA Cup 2021 – Press Conference
Francesco Bruni (Sailor – Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team)
The countdown has begun, and now, as never before, I am counting on only one thing: winning. “We will do everything to bring the Cup to Italy, if they want to beat us, they will have to go over our heads,” he had said Francesco “Checco” Bruni minutes after raising the Prada Cup. Then. The Cup Journal is ready to reopen its doors precisely to welcome as a guest the helmsman of Red Moon, Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m. in a special episode of our program.
But our Bacci Del Buono and Mauro Giuffrè are trying to organize something more, which is to bring together, connections between various parts of the world permitting, Checco Bruni with the other two helmsmen who led Italy in the America’s Cup, Paul Cayard and Francesco De Angelis.
Whether the meeting happens or not matters little, but what matters is that a few days before the start of the challenge against Team New Zealand we are going to listen to the thoughts the thoughts and emotions of those who will then have the helm of Luna Rossa in their hands. Appointment then on Sunday evening, as always live on the YouTube and Facebook channels of the Giornale della Vela, and in the events area of Milano Yachting Week.
