Visit the Venice Boat Show and the Architecture Biennale with your boat. You don’t pay for the berth. Here’s how to do it.
The
Venice Boat Show 2021
takes place from May 29 to June 6, 2021, in conjunction with the
Architecture Biennale
.
Boaters who book a visit to the boat show by reaching Venice with their own vessel, craft or pleasure craft, from 5 to 70 meters, will be hosted at the Venice Certosa Marina At the organization’s expense for the first three nights mooring, will be given a free entrance ticket and will be able to reach the Salon, by waterbus or Certosa shuttle, in a few minutes.
The boatshow takes place over 9 days, from Saturday, May 29 to Sunday, June 6, 2021 with hours 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Visitors will not only be able to admire more than 220 boats from more than 160 exhibitors, but also the spectacular structures of the Arsenal, which is hosting at the same time the Architecture Biennale entitled HOW WILL WE LIVE TOGETHER? and dedicated to exploring future scenarios of coexistence.
The Venice Boat Show is an event that, along with the Architecture Biennale and the reopening of museum and cultural institutions, accompanies the restart of Venice and Italy. The event seals the importance of boating and the sea economy for the city and is an unmissable opportunity to visit Venice and the lagoon in the best season of the year.
At Certosa, boaters will find all the 400 renovated berths, exceptional food and wine offerings thanks to new panoramic restaurant Alajmo Hostaria in Certosa and refreshment and picnic spots distributed in the large park, the residences with a view of the lagoon and all the complementary port services: the shipyard that provides technical support with carpentry and workshop for systems and engines, handling and storage equipment, a sailmaker/repair shop, and a store of spare parts and accessories (shipchandler).
The port is equipped to safely moor units over 70m in length and 6m in draft. The body of water is sheltered from disturbances from all directions, not subject to wave motion or high tide, and ensures easy accessibility in all seasons and weather/sea conditions. Qualified staff provide 24/7 assistance and supervision.
Venice Certosa Marina is the marina with the largest and most valuable nature park in the world. Surrounded by the greenery of Certosa Island, adjacent to the center of Venice and barycentric in the lagoon, equipped with the requirements for the classification of “Marina Resort” offers berthing and complementary port services to every vessel, from the boat to the superyacht.
Thanks in part to a series of major interventions, especially aimed at reducing environmental impact and guest service, the marina has been awarded for the third consecutive year the FEE Blue Flag for tourist landings and has recently obtained certification MaRina Excellence For the quality of port infrastructure and services and accommodation.
The Venice Certosa Marina is the driving activity behind the urban regeneration program of Certosa, recently recovered from abandonment and integrated into the urban fabric of the city and the environment of the lagoon, close to the open sea and bathing establishments, connected by public bus service, starting point for lagoon excursions place for leisure and recreation of residents and visitors. The island is home to sporting and cultural events and is an iconic destination for sustainable tourism.
