Beautiful sea story of Ambrogio Beccaria Balduzzi (winner at the VELAFestival of the TAG Heuer #don’tcrackunderpressure award), which ended with winning the Italian Mini 6.50 Series Championship. Ambrose wanted the ocean at all costs, found a half-destroyed boat in Portugal, went to salvage it himself on a novel voyage, and then spent months and months sweating to put it back together in a shed in La Spezia. He succeeded in a great way. And “Alla Grande – Ambeco” is precisely the name of his boat, with which he is preparing to participate in the 2017 Mini Transat.
