In America it is having a big success, because it is actually a brilliant bowsprit. Made entirely of carbon, the A-Sprit Trogear is triangular in shape and is designed for retrofit installations.
You can mount it on the bow by attaching it to a fiberglass hinge that crosses the hull at the bow, or by brackets. There are different solutions for each type of boat (including catamarans). You will be able to adjust from the cockpit by means of a convenient linkage the tension of the tuff-luff , but most importantly, you will be able to work on the bowsprit very easily by lifting the bowsprit and working on it directly in the boat, as shown in the photo to the side.
