Veneziani Yachting, a partner of the 2018 TAG Heuer VELAFestival (May 3-6, Santa Margherita Ligure) has always been sensitive to customer protection and respect for the environment. It has recently unveiled its new range of antifoulings that comply with the BPR biocide regulation.
Some antifoulings will be phased out and, starting this year, new formulations will become available, always ensuring products with high performance and improved technology. All new antifoulings are compatible with their previous formulations and can be equally applied over most traditional antifoulings, provided they are in good condition.
They are applicable in the same manner as the previous products. Veneziani Yachting’s sales network and technical assistance will provide support and training throughout the transition.

The Biocidal Products Regulation is the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (528/2012) that aims to control the biocidal products market in the EU while simultaneously ensuring a high level of protection for humans and the environment. This is the premise under which the regulation ensures that all biocidal products and associated products are subject to risk assessment and registration. As of June 30, 2018, all out-of-date products can no longer be sold, and end users can only use them by December 31, 2018.

Veneziani Yachting’s wide range of antifoulings can be used in fresh and salt water, in cold, temperate and warm seas, on sail and motor boats, slow and fast hulls, and on different substrates.
