The warm weather is back and the TAG Heuer VELA Cup regatta circuit is back, with the first leg scheduled for May 7/8 in Chiavari. Anyone can participate; it is sufficient to have a sailboat longer than 4 meters. The first route of the season is beautiful, skirting in fact the magical Tigullio Gulf from Chiavari to Portofino.

A weekend of celebration in the pearl of Liguria
How does the weekend of the TAG Heuer VELA Cup in Chiavari unfold ? It starts on Friday, May 6 with the arrival of the boats at Marina Cala Ovest in Chiavari where the finalization of registration and the delivery of crew bags takes place. Saturday and Sunday’s regatta starts are set for 11:00 a.m., proceeded by the morning briefing scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at Marina Cala Ovest in Chiavari. Between the first and second regattas there will be the big square party, which will take place on the evening of Saturday, May 7, of course in compliance with anticovid regulations. And finally the final awards ceremony, with prizes for (almost) all participants, scheduled for Sunday late afternoon at the conclusion of the second regatta.

This year on the weekend of May 7 and 8 in Chiavari there is also the ICE Cup. So if you have a boat from the ICE Yacht s or CN Yachts 2000 shipyard, you can participate in both regattas by entering both rankings! To participate in the
