USED The luck of sailing aboard a Hallberg Rassy

Among theboats that are part of the sailing myth are certainly those launched by the Hallberg Rassy shipyard. Boats for true boaters, more concerned with substance than form. An owner who chooses a Hallberg Rassy wants to bond with his boat forever; he wants to make it part of the family. Like a house. He wants to sail for a long time, safely. He wants to travel the world and do it as comfortably as possible. The goal is not to pull the boat to the max to tie a few extra knots, but to take the best care of it so that it can sail as many miles as possible and maybe then leave it to the children and then the grandchildren.
This Swedish shipyard has its strength in experience and building tradition-everyone feels safe aboard in a Hallberg Rassy. A tradition that this year was also able to renew itself and make “strong” choices for the site. In fact, the new Hallber Rassy 44 has features that are being seen aboard a HR for the first time: a retractable swim platform, retractable bowsprit, double rudder blades, a thoroughly modern sail plan, and large windows.
However, there are excellent bargains on the market to “make” you a used Hallber Rassy and make it your home. We had fun fishing for you some “older” models that in our opinion represent great bargains for those who are looking for a boat to sail anywhere.

Hallberg Rassy 342

A mythical boat, which at the time of its launch wanted to follow in the successful footsteps of its predecessor, the HR 43, through the typical characteristics of the Swedish shipyard: excellent marine qualities, high quality of materials and great comfort on board. The pencil of German Frers has succeeded on this model in exploiting spaces exceptionally well, without wasting a single inch. The HR 342 is also characterized by a sail plan that is easy to handle even with a small crew, an extremely bright interior, and a great commercial success with sales worldwide. The model we offer, is virtually new, launched in 2016, and is complete with tiller steering, mainsail furler, furler, autopilot, gps, plotter and heater. Lung. 10.32; width. 3,42. DISCOVER MORE.

Hallberg Rassy 352
After the success of the Rasmus 35 (the first boat launched), the Swedish shipyard decided in 1978 to introduce a new, mid-cockpit model, which was not easy given its small size, theHallberg Rassy 352. Such was the success of theHallberg Rassy 352 that the boat remained in production until 1991 with 808 built, one of the yard’s best sellers along with the successor HR 36, developed in MKI and MKII versions. It was a big exercise for the yard, because making an 11 m with a stern passage is not easy, but the yard’s designers and founders, Christoph Rassy and Olle Enderlein, received many awards for this boat, which was called “futuristic” by the press at the time. It is one of the most versatile and sought-after boats, but it is also the oldest, in fact the first version can be up to 35 years old, so the teak deck, engine, rigging, will have, with good sense, been renewed. The hull is a very classic design with long fin, i.e., developed very longitudinally, rudder with separate skegs and integrated shaft line. The rudder blade is large, and it compensates quite well for the evolutionary effect of the reverse gear and corrections under sail. Many units have since added a bow thruster over time. The model we offer, launched in 1987, includes mainsail furler, furler, vhf, gps, plotter, echo, wind and Max Prop three-blade propeller. Lung. 10.54; width. 3,42.
