The first proposal is a Winning Cat produced by Centro Nautico Calasetta in 2005. At 6.50 meters long, she has two berths below deck, making her suitable for coastal and weekend sailing. A Judel/Vrolijk design created for match racing and later modified for mini-altura racing, this Portobello 28 (8.50 m x 2.50) was built by Manara Composites under vacuum with epoxy resin, unidirectional fiberglass and PVC and Nomex cores. Measuring 9.02 meters long and 2.95 meters wide, the CBS Harmony, a 1973 design by Aldo Renai, was born with the intention of becoming a true “mini-cruiser” with which to take on long family sailings for up to 4 people.
