Used boats, you will find lots of them here. Nautilia returns in a revamped form

Returning in a revamped format is Nautilia, the now classic North Adriatic used boat show, now in its 33rd edition, scheduled for weekends Oct. 17/18/19 and 23/24/25, 2020.

In the statement we receive and publish all the news:

We are in Aprilia Marittima – Latisana (Udine), a reality that at the end of October has been hosting a boat show entirely dedicated to the used boat for 33 years now.

The symbolism of the number 33 leaves room for numerous interpretations among which we find that of “total commitment,” such is, what for this edition, will be dedicated to NAUTILIA; the superstitious wish that to give us courage we have exchanged over the past 6 months, “everything will be all right….” does not leave us calm, however, and therefore NAUTILIA has tried to introduce measures to mitigate the impact that this Covid 19 has caused in the nautical sector.

What the fallout will be in the near future from this Coronavirus crisis is still too early to know, but Nautilia will react with a determined response, along with all its Exhibitors, “never give up.”

Organizers Eugenio Toso and Stefano Rettondini tell us “we are getting signals from many quarters that, if they are not yet those of an obvious recovery, they certainly are not those of surrender, and regardless of whether restrictions on the organization of Fairs due to a second lock down are reintroduced, Nautilia will still be there, with a novelty that we are sure will meet with public approval and will be repeated in future editions.

This innovation that we may call a “virtual tour” will allow us to develop an online activity through our website and on social networks. Each Broker, will be able, at no cost, to have a video of each boat entered in the fair placed on the “nautilia.com” website, and each boat will be accompanied by a comprehensive technical data sheet with all information about its condition and equipment on board.

As a result, the interested public has expanded opportunities to explore the boats on display previewed online, taking virtual digital tours of their interiors and exteriors, with the possibility of enlarging the images and analyzing their details.

This effort was made possible through the high level of cooperation with the exhibiting Dealers and the organizers of the Event.

Therefore, the “boats on the catwalk, or the “boat defile” by which Nautilia was identified in past years, with the novelty of the “virtual tour” will not suffer manifest slowdowns and will be presented in this new guise to the attention of the public and the media.

Another important new feature of this Nautilia is scheduled for the 1st weekend of Saturday, October 17, the final day of the IBGE (International Big Game Events) Bluefin Tuna Drifting Championship, organized by the ASD Lignano Tuna Club, an association founded in 1993 that currently has more than 100 members. During the Kermesse, crews of more than 50 boats from all over Italy will compete to win the coveted Trophy.

The boats will be moored in the Capo Nord Marina in Aprilia Marittima ready for the challenge. On Sunday of the 2nd weekend, a “simulated tuna” competition will be held, organized with collaboration of the Aprilia Marittima Yachting Club, which will award prizes to the winning participants during a charity culinary evening, with tuna recipes prepared by Members

Particular relevance then assumes the Nautilia exhibition in the territorial sphere of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which wanted to bet before any other region in Italy, on boating as an element of progress of the entire tourism sector. The F .V.G. region has been able to invest in receptivity, acquiring with an offer of 23 marinas and 15,000 berths grouped in the “FVG Marinas” network an important role in nautical tourism in Italy.

Corollary to the Event will be stands of operators in the branch of technical nautical accessories.
