Five used boats from 6.40 to 13.92 m
First 21.7 – 6.40 m – Finot’s minialtura
The first of the used boats we offer is perfect for fun. We are talking about a Beneteau First 21.7s (6.40 x 2.48 m), a true “minialtura” that remained in production from 2005 to 2011. You’ll have some great rides aboard this little Finot-sized gem, with a sail area of more than 25 sq. m. for a displacement of 1,245 kg empty.
The monolithically designed hull is made of layered polyester. A structural counter-mold made of unidirectional materials is glued and layered to the hull. Its structural role is important because it allows all the stresses and pressure points (tie-rods moorings shrouds, keel, rudder…) to be taken up, ensuring their distribution and providing less stress to the hull. The surface condition of the counter mold facilitates cleaning and gives a better finish. Flotation foams are distributed throughout the hull structure.
Below deck, there are two berths in the saloon, a small galley and chemical toilet, and the double forward cabin with double bed with mattress 1.90 m x 1.40 m
The model we are proposing, visible in Marina di Minturno – Scauri, is from 2010 and is in perfect condition: the boat is“very lightly used for work commitments, winter storage and maintenance, movable dinghy (180 cm), rollafiocco, chemical toilet and stove, double battery, Yamaha 4t 8hp long shank engine.”

Star 28 – 8.60 m – “Vintage” Cruise
We continue with the second of the used boats for sale in our marketplace. The Star 28 (8.60 x 2.49) was built in 2001 by the Settemari shipyard, designed, again, by Finot. A perfect model for your cruise, especially with your family.
The boat, outside, features tiller steering, simple cockpit in Comet 28 style (not coincidentally designed by Finot) high deckhouse, transom with double step.
Below deck, space is found for 4 bunks (double in the bow and two in the saloon) and the toilet. The model for sale, visible in La Spezia, Liguria, has complete electronics and new sails.

Manhattan 44 – 13.25 m – A Bill Cook-branded gem
We continue with the third of the used boats on our marketplace. A boat definitely “out of the chorus”: a Manhattan 44 (13.25 x 4.00 m) and quite rare.
It was designed by Bill Cook and was produced in Italy by the Artmare shipyard until 1983: in ’83 the shipyard went bankrupt and was taken over by Avv. Federico Avallone of the Velieri da Corsa shipyard and renamed Artmare Sud, which merely proposed kits for completion.
The model we propose, visible in La Spezia, Liguria, is from 193. Below deck it has three cabins and two bathrooms. It is motorized 39 horsepower and is equipped with every convenience: furling genoa, Furling, Webasto heating, Bimini, New sprayhood frame, 2021 dinette cushions, Gangway, Mooring/anchoring kit and more…
The price is very attractive for a boat of this size.

Dufour 450 GL – 13.50 m – Comfortably Dufour
Let’s move on to the fourth of the boats used in the review. The Dufour 450 GL (13.50 x 4.35 m) is a 13-and-a-half-meter Felci signature that immediately inspires a lot of substance. The boat comes from the pencil of the Felci studio, and the waterline length is high, coupled with a significant maximum beam.
Maneuvering, combined with the proper sail plan, is easy to handle in a small crew, and there is no shortage of storage space. The total weight is just over 10 thousand pounds, with ballast ranging from 2,800 to 3,000 pounds depending on the type of keel you choose, whether short (1.8) or long (2.2 m). The weight gain also allows the sail area to be reduced to some extent without losing performance, resulting in greater ease of maneuvering and agility in both light airs and stronger winds.
The layout is quite traditional, but what sets the boat apart are some small details that give it even more of a concrete boat feel. Very useful is the slot for the chartplotter that comes out from under the center table and swivels to the two wheelhouses as desired. Ensuring the passage of air and light below deck are three good-sized, traditional-type, non-flush hatches, a good choice in terms of functionality and rationality in exterior lines. The standard conformation is three cabins, with two aft divided by a tunnel where the batteries are hidden. The generously sized forward cabin maintains the same height as the whole boat, about 2 meters.
The model for sale, visible in La Spezia, is from 2014 and is equipped with every convenience in its three-cabin, two-bathroom configuration. The engine is Volvo 75 hp, has a bow thruster, heater, sprayhood, gangway, fullbatten mainsail and furling genoa, among other things.

X-452 – 13.92 m – The “cruise” according to Jeppesen
The fifth and last of the boats used in the review is a great classic by Jeppesen. An X-452 (13.92 x 4.25 m) cruiser/racer in production from 1986 to 1992.
A beautiful boat, more cruise-oriented. A variety of layouts were offered, including three- and four-cabin versions, which became popular in the Mediterranean.
The model we propose, from 1991, has undergone a great deal of refitting work. It is equipped with Cariboni mast, North Sail sails, spinnaker, Yanmar 63 hp motor. The anti-osmosis treatment was performed in 2020 with a full five-year warranty. The rigging was overhauled in 2018, the electronics are from 2016.
