Nearly 70 boats were on the water for the “classic” Trieste – San Giovanni in Pelago – Trieste the historic offshore regatta, now in its 58th edition, which is the final event of the International Sailing Week organized by the Yacht Club Adriaco. We are talking about one of the leading sailing events, dedicated to offshore boats, in the panorama of Adriatic regattas.
As for the long race, among the maxis success of Arca of Fast&Furio Sailing Team, ahead of Adriatic Europa and Anywave. In the ORC overall ranking, success for the Northern Light Sailing Team’s Dufour 34 Northern Light, ahead of Corrado Agnis’ Lady Day 998 and Dario Perini’s Seven J. For the combined standings, between stick racing and the long race, the Dufour34MOD Northern Light II is ahead of the Italy 9.98 Lady Day in the overall standings by 0.2 points, while in third place the First40 Rebel is more than 13 points behind.
Returning to the Trieste – San Giovanni, among the Open success for Fanatic, second place for Riedl Aerospace, third place for Margherita. In Orc X2, Mauro Trevisan’s Hauraki won, second place for Paolo Striuli’s Black Angel, third place for Marco Romano’s Skip Intro.
