Did you know that until a few months ago, the area occupied by the TAG Heuer VELAFestival was a pile of rubble?
We decided to open the TAG Heuer VELAFestival (May 2-5, Santa Margherita Ligure) with the event “This is how we saved Tigullio.” In attendance will be the mayor of Santa Paolo Donadoni, the mayor of Portofino Matteo Viacava and the mayor of Rapallo Carlo Bagnasco and Santa Margherita Ligure Harbor Master Antonello Piras. Also on stage were the editor of the Sailing Newspaper and sailing great Mauro Pelaschier.
Together with them, we will see how institutions, together with citizens, have worked hard to rebuild after what for all intents and purposes was a real “tsunami” that brought the Tigullio Gulf to its knees.
