In Italy we know how to do really good things. And in boating in particular. There is a shipyard, Adria Sail (find out HERE) that specializes not only in making very beautiful boats, but also in making them custom and high-tech. That is, boats customized to the owner’s needs, which in some cases can become perhaps even a mini-series, and built with materials such as carbon and epoxy resin, that is, rigid and lightweight. Adria Sail has churned out a new one, the Scuderia 65, which follows the success of the Scuderia 50 (find out HERE). The design is by Harry Miesbauer and the boat is already in the water performing the first tests of which we show you some shots.
The concept of the boat is that of a performance cruiser in the mini maxi segment: a boat that can quickly change its skin and go from being a comfortable Mediterranean cruiser to a performance boat for use in racing, especially offshore.
The complete set of sails was produced in the OneSails Nord Est loft in Verona, italy and designed by sailmaking experts Dede De Luca and Samuele Nicolettis in close collaboration with boat designer Harry Miesbauer to optimize the sail plan for long IRC races. The “lock-down” period allowed OneSails Verona’s designers to devote a few more weeks to sail optimization.
