When it comes to choosing the right sailing watch, people often favor its pliability-that is, the ability to use it both on boats and in more “city” settings. This is a feature of Locman watches, which has created some lines explicitly designed for sailors.
STEALTH SEA CHRONOGRAPH WATCHES
Stealth Mare is a direct evolution of the Stealth model, Locman Italy’s flagship collection. The current, essential design, combined with the use of the latest materials designed to ensure the highest degree of lightness and strength, has made Stealth a modern-day icon. With this model Locman presents a watch, even more technical and sporty: Stealth Mare, equipped with a unidirectional rotating steel bezel, with a screen-printed duralumin mask.
Finished with a knurl that makes it easy to rotate while diving, Stealth Mare’s bezel features large Arabic numerals alternating with markers for maximum visibility. The large dial is also designed for optimal readability during night or sports use. The indexes and hands, except for the central seconds sphere, are treated with superluminova, an innovative luminescent product that is totally biocompatible with the human body, unlike tritium commonly used for this purpose. The flat titanium and steel case, with the bottom tightened by four screws, encloses a quartz time-only movement, guaranteed water resistance up to 10 atmospheres or, a chronograph mechanism, up to 5 atmospheres. Locman also chose a highly durable and biocompatible material for the strap, a hypoallergenic and ultra-soft to the touch plant-colored silicone rubber. The technical features of the Locman Stealth Mare quartz watch include a durable steel and titanium case, making it simultaneously lightweight and suitable for sports use; finally, the strap, made of silicone.
MONTECRISTO LINE
Locman created the Montecristo line in “honor” of the island of the same name that appears opposite Elba Island on the clearest of days. Montecristo is the first mechanical watch developed by the Italian watchmaking school. The Locman Montecristo wristwatch in the PVD-treated dial version features a steel and titanium case measuring 43 x 13 mm and has a rubber strap with transparent holes. The watch, with an automatic movement and displaying hours, minutes, seconds (indicated with a crown composed of the main flags of Italian yacht clubs) and day of the week, is composed of scratch-resistant mineral glass. Water resistance to 10 atmospheres completes the technical features.
