Here in Paris, there is an air of novelty. The biggest one (although rumors have been chasing for a while), concerns Beneteau’s announcement of the launch of the new Oceanis Yacht 62.
Why is this a big surprise? Because it heralds the birth of a new range, one that aims to put the French giant in direct competition with a more luxurious market. To succeed them, Beneteau chose the Berret Racoupeau studio and an Italian designer, Pierangelo Andreani, to do the styling.
Characterized by large windows, it will have an angled hull and double rudder blade. 1907 meters long, it will have a maximum beam of 5.33 and two possible drafts, of 2.30 or 2.90 meters.
