ANCHOR PRO
Allows the anchor position to be set and gives the alarm in case of excessive deviation from the set point. There is a free basic version and a Pro/Alarm version with additional features for 4.89 euros. Available for Android on Google Play.
ANCHOR ALERT
It was one of the first anchor warning apps for boaters. It takes advantage of the smartphone’s Gps, has an easy-to-navigate interface, and works even without a wi-fi connection. Available for Android on Google Play at a cost of 13.99 euros.
BOAT MASTER
Boat Parking & Navigation Simulator. A free App game with which to virtually learn how to moor your boat. The player is tested with various types of boats and different marine weather conditions. Available on Google Play.
BOAT NOTES.
App that allows you to keep track of all boat management activities: mooring contract, maintenance, tax deadlines, documents, insurance, etc. Available only on the iTunes Appstore at a cost of 4.49 euros.
BOATBEACON – AIS NAVIGATION
It turns your smartphone into an Ais receiver with a 60-mile range, within which you will view all vessels equipped with the system. Works only with active connection. Available on Google Play at a cost of 13.99 euros.
COMPASS GALAXY
Free app that allows us to turn our personal device into a digital compass, accurate and essential and, above all, without the annoying advertising of so many similar apps. Available on Google Play.
C-MAP EMBARK
App that grew out of the experience of C-Map maps (Navico). It allows you to create and edit routes, locate harbors, bays, and shelterlands, view maps from above, and calculate estimated time of arrival with Gps. Downloaded papers remain available even without a connection. Available on Google Play.
C-POD
It is an alarm and tracking system designed for boats. It works worldwide and can send warning signals to an unlimited number of recipients, whether on a single boat or a fleet of boats.

GARMIN ACTIVECAPTAIN
Developed by Garmin, it is a free multifunction App that connects you to your Garmin chartplotter, cartographies, maps, and the ActiveCaptain community. Provides unlimited access to your cartography and allows you to purchase new maps and charts. Available on Google Play.
LIGHTS & SHAPES
A quick and practical app for studying lights and marine signals, with which you will learn to identify crossed boats and ships right away. Available on Google Play at a cost of 2.49 euros.
COAST GUARD
Free app developed by the Italian Capitaneria di Porto that provides access to many useful services for those at sea or even for requesting rescue. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It is available in the App Store.
MARINE TRAFFIC
Connected to the Ais receiver network, it can show near real-time positions of ships and yachts around the world. The App is currently available only in English on Google Play at a cost of 4.99 euros.
MARINE IMRAY CARDS
Developed by the British company Imray, this App is dedicated to anyone who goes to sea by any means. Allows you to plan routes and share routes with friends. It is available for iPhone, iPod and iPad.
