We often find ourselves taking stock of what has been, of the new things we have just seen at the shows or on the docks. Today we are changing the game. We sat down at the editorial desk and tried to imagine, data and experience in hand, what might change in the boating world in the next twelve months. Thus was born a small vademecum in ten words: from A for Alliances to R for Reputation. After the first eight installments (links can be found at the bottom of the article), today we discuss the “Premium Boat” concept.
REPUTATION
There are those who have it and those who try to build it, but we certainly do not discover today that it can also be squandered in a short time: one cleverness or carelessness and the prestige gathered piece by piece is put at risk with incalculable consequences. Absurdly, the most exposed are precisely those shipyards with the most solid reputations, on which an image has been built that over time has crystallized in the minds of shipowners and like a crystal proves to be extremely fragile. In times of transparency, real or alleged, and social networking, it is increasingly complicated to escape the risk of gaffe. No one excluded.
