Alessandro Cortese (CV Crotone) and Federica Contardi (Tognazzi Marine Village) won gold medals at the Optimist class European Championships that just concluded in Crozon-Morgat, Brittany.

Excellent results for the blue team, which returned from the Breton trip winning both categories of the European Championships: gold medal for Federica Contardi (Tognazzi Marine Village) in the women’s classification and gold medal for Alessandro Cortese (CV Crotone) in the men’s classification.

In second place among girls and silver medalist Lisa Vucetti (SV Barcola Grignano) and bronze medalist among boys Lorenzo Pezzilli (CV Ravennate).
In fifth position and fourth among Europeans Niccolò Pulito (Tognazzi Marine Village), 11th overall (10th European) Michele Adorni (SC Marsala) and among girls Sophie Fontanesi (Tognazzi Marine Village) closes in eighth position (seventh among Europeans).
