A charter workhorse with some revolutionary ideas, this will be Jeanneau’s new Sun Loft 47. A boat of large spaces, with great interior volume availability and a high number of berths thanks also to a pronounced maximum width. “The Sun Loft 47 is an original sailboat concept designed to offer comfort, considerable living space and ease of handling to a younger, more urban clientele ready to enjoy a boating vacation at a reasonable price,” comments Loic Bonnet, executive director of Dream Yacht Charter, one of the companies betting heavily on the new Jeanneau project.

Early drawings show that the shipyard obviously did not give up the search for aesthetic continuity of some details with the other models in the range, such as the detail of the upper limit of the beveled freeboard.

The exteriors can be completely enclosed with solo or wind/rain curtains, as in the photo above, with the kitchen placed outside.

There is no dinette inside, but space has been maximized to get as many berths as possible, nice 6 bunks with 5 bathrooms, two of which are accessible directly from the cabins.

The Jeanneau Marketing team developed the Sun Loft 47 with a specific goal in mind. This monohull, which espouses some concepts related to comfort and space typical of catamarans, is designed to be offered primarily to charter companies and tour operators. Yacht Week, MedSailors, G Adventures and Dream Yacht Charters are already among the first to put their trust in the brand.
The design concept, by Jeanneau and Philippe Briand, offers multiple living spaces with an exceptional degree of comfort designed for sharing by multiple people on board. In fact, the Sun Loft 47 will have 6 cabins, capable of accommodating 12 people on board (+ 1 skipper).

The boat, from the first renders distributed by the shipyard, shows one of the peculiarities that had been imagined on the eve of the presentation, namely a catamaran-style deckhouse, which will offer an almost 360-degree view outward.
